Riaci beach is a large beach, which still holds its charm despite being neglected currently.
Tourists can get there following the road that from Tropea leads to Santa Domenica di Ricadi by turning right after the Tropea hospital. Close to the beach, you can find a large parking lot and a beach establishment with a bar-restaurant.
The beach is large and sandy and the high cliffs are a natural frame that make the area a spectacular place to visit. A large, beautiful rock rests in the sea water not far from the beach, and a long sand strip makes it reachable by tourists: it is called “Riaci Rock” or “Scoglio Grande”. On the north side of the beach, a small valley – Vetrano – stands as a natural border between Tropea and Santa Domenica districts.
